I actually really like it, if I wasn't saving up to buy my SS (or the z28 if it ever gets made) i would definitely consider getting this..................

then again, i'm 19, so I'm part of that crowd of kids that you guys are saying are attracted to these kinds of cars lol

Why not? Adding an RS package to cars does nothing for performance. It only heightens the visual appeal of a car by creating a more sporty, stylish exterior, similar to the Camaro's RS package.

RS packages are something that Chevrolet needs. Look how many Camry SEs are on the road. If normal cars can get body color roof-ditch moldings, HID headlamps, unique taillights, etc, why shouldn't that warrant RS badging?

I agree with the use of the RS badging. I also DISAGREE with using SS on everything. but I suppose if they wanna start doing that, they could alway differentiate their high power cars with... hmm, gee, i dunno... maybe aaaa Z28?

Actually, all of these new cars are needed to bring in customers, kind of like what the camaro has done. I mean people who aren't gm or camaro enthusiasts have bought the car because they like it.

More customers - more revenue - more money coming in faster to give back to the government

Though I hate to admit that I happen to hate the current aveo and all of the tiny little cars, I like this concept. As long as the production form looks EXACTLY like this then I wouldn't mind driving one, I just wouldn't want to own it (too small).

What's great is that GM has a trend lately...every new car they've launched has been a hit in some form or another. They've boosted sales of the nameplate anywhere from 50-300%...the Cobalt/Aveo tag team is in sore need of sales...and the current model Aveo doesn't hold its own weight.

I have high hopes for this car, and I hope the Cruze/Aveo RS follow GM's recent new-launch trend.
