Ah, I got ya. Well, they both call them "concept" I suppose. I looked at both before deciding. There's nothing wrong with AAC's at all. You know that Justin has the AAC ones. The only reason I didn't go with AAC was because their LED's are middle of the lens whereas Showstoppers are at the top...along the top leading edge. They both look great. I thought it would be easier doing paint with the Showstoppers. Plus, when they are off, it's cool that they appear like concepts because they have a red lens rear and orange front.

Ah, ok, makes sense. Wondered if it was due to your painting requirements. I'm thinking about doing the AAC ones with the smoke lens for my GBA SS, yours look pretty bad ass anyway Will have to see them in person of course ;D

Not bad! $275 per wheel and another $50 to sand down the welds should I wish. 4 week turnaround. Hrm....still need to get ahold of Vaughns shop. But, that's not bad!

Ya know, TAG... your brake calipers would look really sweet if you painted them the same blue as your pin stripes.

I happen to know someone with a CGM car with blue calipers. I think it looks pretty cool.

They are stealth!




They are chrome plated and disappear right into the lens. I'll take some pix tomorrow and post'em up. But really...you can't see ANY yellow in there anymore. They really clean up the front end now that there's no orange behind the clear lenses.

I thought about painting them. But, with as hot as the calipers get, I'm worried that the paint will start to flake off.

Anyone know how to get them done where the paint won't flake and chip off?


Gonna get those subframe bushings installed in the morning. I finally have a Saturday off. Maybe I can get the little ones to help me out.
