True, I do like the directional sensors on the Valentine.

I went with a Passport 9500ix a couple of years ago (when I bought the Hayabusa) because I like the GPS traffic cam feature. I have a wireless rig that warns me in helmet via LED.

The rear sensor would probably be a waste in my case, if you take my meaning.

That sounds like a pretty bad ass set up! I'm a sucker for stuff like that.

I like the features of the Passport a lot, but the V1 has the ability to be run in stealth mode and integrate the arrows into the HUD with a device... and, well, I told you I'm a sucker for stuff like that.

I don't drive the limit either, I just have good reflexes.

Seriously don't understand how people get pulled over for speeding.

(I probably just jinxed myself)

Thanks, I love my bike. As Number 3 noticed, that's where my avatar comes from.

I have a laser jammer on it too. The cool thing is they're totally legal in most places. Infrared emissions are considered the same as shining a flashlight.

And a few other goodies:

Power Commander & tune
Timing Retard Eliminator
K&N Air Filter
Scorpio anti theft system w/ remote alert
Oversize air scoops
Turn Signals incorporated into LEDs inside the main headlight lens
blade type levers & gatling spike frame sliders
Bat-wing blade type mirrors (which have drawn blood from myself and most of my friends)
19 Kuryakyn multi-color lizard lights
blackout kit on the taillights
all the chrome powder coated to Black

and a couple of other things.

Really nice Scarrzz!

I bet the performance of the Camaro, ZL1 or not, will feel like driving a Toyota Corolla compared to that thing

Who's Camaro in the background is that? Looks really sharp too.

Thankee, Sir.

Four wheels is a completely different creature, but yeah, nothing on four wheels will get up to speed at that rate. I had 170 HP bone stock, before I put on the goodies.

A toyota corolla has 132.

Then there's that power to weight ration to consider.

The SLP belongs to a guy I know here in El Paso. That was the day I met him when I was just out for a ride on Rim Road. I told him he should come hang out with us on C5, but he has a lot of irons in the fire. ( and a smokin' girlfriend )

I hate it when I can't get on for a while....

Have to bullet-point a bunch of a thoughts:

1) 6th gen will be good. Have faith - there is (or will be) a great group of people working on it. We should be careful to remember that even if we like the 5th gen's design better, the next cars are still Camaros...

2) building on one...rumors are rumors...we all know this. Let things actually happen before before we attach ourselves to one opinion or another of something imaginary at this point.

3) Caprice is a great concept, but imo, needs its design to be brought up-to-date - inside and out otherwise it'd be a flop and a half. Think about it, if you put that car in a showroom with the new Malibu, Cruze, Sonic, Camaro...even the Impala to a degree...it'd get the same reception as the GTO in 2004...and that's not counting competitors like the new Charger....imo.

All better...

How is everyone this weekend?

Hi Joe, where ya been? Glad to see you back! Plenty of post fodder out there for you to comment on...I always look forward to reading your commentary. I anxiously await the Gen6 Camaro, but things take alooong time to filter out to us, besides thats far down the road. As you noted, many it seems has everything figured out already from rumors and speculation, it's getting comical in some of the threads...I am sure many will eat their words when it's all said and done. Our first priority is tangible information on the ZL1. I am besides myself waiting for official word from Chevy. I find myself looking at all the Camaro's that we come across parked wherever they may be and checking them out, dreaming away the time while waiting on the ZL1. I saw some awesome looking Gen5 Camaro's around this weekend, they come out in the nice weather around Jersey.

Been....busy.

We finished building a boat this week, the kids did a GREAT job -- so I had to stay real late a couple of nights to rig up her sail and some final alterations before we loaded up the truck and send the boat out to our customer.

Back to Camaro-world, though...I think rumors our great, and it's fun as heck to speculate. My fear is that some of us may lock down what we want to see so concretely, that any deviation when the Camaro team actually does it for real will be perceived as a disappointment. That's all I meant. Avoid that.

I can't wait to hear the "officials" on the ZL1, myself! Power levels, handling specs. I know it probably won't be in my garage, now...but I'm still excited!...
