I'm not disputing that this is an affordable hybrid or that it might even be fun to drive, although I have serious doubts on the latter point. I'm pointing out that the yuppie press has decided to back this vehicle. It is also worth noting that the Aveo gets mileage not far off from this and costs substantially less.
why so serious?

I'm not a big fan of this particular car either. However, like it or not, the industry is moving toward these types of cars. They all aren't going to be homeruns. Personally, I've been happy with all my Hondas, but this isn't going to be one of them.

A shop recently did a K20 swap into one of these...I would so buy one as a DD if they did give it a non hybrid trim.

The back is a Pontiac Aztek. I also think the front is a KIA "KILLED IN ACTION".

IDC what anyone says, but IMO the Kia Forte Koups are the best looking car in the compact market.

I respect that you don't care what anyone says....but yikes. I'd probably be found in a corolla before that thing.

I agree. Kia/Hyundai's in general as of late are very nice cars for the price. Probably best bang for buck automakers on the market.

I think the purpose of Honda for the CR-Z are for young people and those who live in big cities.

IMO the CR-Z would be an ideal car for a teenager because its small it's easy to park and move around also its economical gets very good mileage and its fun at the same time! (I guess??) lol

The CR-Z is fun and economical you don't get that in the prius! lol

The CR-Z is so UGLY but for some reason I actually like it.

Honda lost any credibility with me the moment they cut the S2k. it is very obvious what they are striving for and it is anything but fun.
