I bought my car for mainly track. i mean, yeah, I will drive more on the road but I got the car to go fast on a road course. That said, I got the manual knowing damn well that the A10 would be faster IF I DROVE IT. But I have absolutely no problem thinking I can go faster than most with the manual. I have to drive with the stick. First, it is a Camaro. A muscle car. I just could not come to terms with driving a muscle car with an auto. Second, the M6 does what I want, when i want. I will short shift in certain situations and I don't want the box thinking it's smarter than me.

As far as the back seat...there is none. I am not disappointed. I have a 9 year old who loves riding in my Camaros. Even he has come to terms with the fact that he will have sit Indian Style everytime he gets in with the momma present. Understand, the reason these cars have back seats was to fit in a very specific category. That category is saving my ass on car insurance. Chevrolet knew what they were doing with that back seat. It is a necessary evil.

Zero regrets so far. Well, maybe I regret that I don't make more money to further enhance this beast.

The car is so much more comfortable than my Gen5.

I second that, this is definitely one of my favorite colors. I really liked it on the 5th gen ZL1s

I had no clue Ins cost would have direct ties to back seats...thought they looked at the model, HP & crash / ticket history.

In fact I just got an increase due to increases with crashes with the Durango & Hemi combo...damn thing has back seats behind the back seats!! Where's my discount?? lol...

Different insurance class is just one insurance consideration. Bigger factor is the vehicles "reputation", and replacement costs...It's the same sort of reason people believe Subaru/Toyota put backseats into their tiny little RWD car. Ditto for genesis coupe.

Want to see truly unusable seats?

Well well well said sir. Muscle car + Manual Tranny = Automotive Euphoria. Of course I'm slightly biased.

It's no wonder! you're a huge dude! I'd guess 6'2+

I'm curious what kind of mileage you manual guys are getting now that you've had it for a minute. Is it better than advertised? I've seen one report of over 25 mpg already.

I show to be averaging just under 17 MPG. I currently drive in mixed HW and City. Sit in about an hour to two hours worth of traffic a day.

No regrets. I absolutely love the M6. Hands down the best manual transmission I have ever worked.

I can't imagine owning this car in anything but the manual. Different strokes for different folks.

That's great mileage considering where these cars are rated. My 5th gen would probably average around 12 mpg in similar conditions.
