Got first (and most important) mod today - perfect timing !

Got my "mild to wild" for the NPP in the mail today, what great timing, picking up the car by tomorrow. I'll be in the trunk before under the hood !!!

Already have mine planned out, but going a different route as I don't like the "wireless" aspect. Going to run a switch inline with the fuse, run the switch up through the trunk and under the center console and put it somewhere on the dash. Already have a switch for it, SPST 20AMP switch with a little ball on the end of the lever, reminds me of the Hurst shifter.

Super cool mod and very easy to install.

Make sure you pair it to the Homelink buttons.

Even my wife likes it.

Ordered but still waiting for the next two best things to be delivered.
Number 2
Skip Shift Eliminator CAGS Bypass

And then number 3:
PLASTIC SPLASH GUARD KIT

Number 4 for this year will be a CAI, still shopping and looking around though. **Had one ordered for $29.99, but we know how that turned out

Hey MYSS1LE, I've been trying to figure out the appeal of this thing for a long time. I too ordered NPP for my Vert and I'm really concerned about being too loud, especially at startup in my garage when I'm told the flaps are wide open (especially after my header install!). My understanding of M2W is that only has two settings: 1) open all the time like a fuse pull or just flooring it or 2) factory NPP operation which includes wide open at cold start. There is no telling NPP to stay closed. Do I understand it correctly? If so, I'm not quite sure I see it's utility.

I like Billy 10's approach and I read that DIY for the three position switch install. You'd better be an EE to understand it. I'm pretty handy with basic maintenance DIY but when it comes to digging into the wires I get real squeamish.

That's my plan to disable it when I get my 1LE in May.

What I'm doing is a bit simpler. I'm going to install a switch inline with the fuse. So when I turn the switch off, I break the connection to the fuse (same effect as pulling the fuse), and when I turn the switch on, I re-establish the connection and the NPP acts as it does in stock form.

What you're talking about is actually getting into the guts of the NPP controller, which I have use for. I've heard NPP exhausts stock. I live in an apartment building and I have no concerns that I'm going to annoy neighbors, it's just not that loud. It has a nice rumble for sure, but its not going to bother anyone. The switch will allow me to keep the car relatively quiet when I want it to be, and loud when it needs to be, just like Mild to Wild but without the need to replace batteries or keep tabs on where the remote control is.

You can program the garage door openers to activate it.
