Any Body going to May 6th Event?
I was thinking of taking the day off and if Tephers is here drive her down and take folks for a ride in a 2SS if they looked like they may buy.

I definitely will be at my dealer on the 6th. It officially doesn't start until 6:30 pm, but I will likely get there a little early. They are going to have a game (rolling dice) for a chance to win a free Camaro. Wouldn't that be nice!!

ill def be there i was at my dealer yesterday and they called what ever guy that it is they call infront of me he told me my car was built and because around new england i guess is always one of the last areas to get the cars they are trying to get them in by may 6th he said i should have my car then. i hope i hope

I'm not sure my dealership is even having one... they just got through a transition of ownership and I hardly see new cars on the lot there at all much less Camaros.

I think it is a joke....
who, besides a few of us crazy enthusiasts, goes to a car party at a dealership? ... especially when you can’t even buy the car that is being "unveiled" I think I might could think of a few better ways for GM to spend the bailout money. |

Hmmm what event?
I do know about it but didn’t find anything out from my dealer until I called yesterday to check the status of my car. He didn’t make it sound like anything super special. I would have thought that since there are only two people who ordered Camaro's from them that maybe they would have let us know? I’m so frustrated. I actually pondered cancelling my order and finding a dealer who would knew something about what’s going on and who could at least give me some kind of update to live on every couple of weeks. Sorry guys, just frustrated today. :( |

Well is was going to be earlier but they didn't get their car in time so it was delayed. Bill Estes (son of Pete
 ) Chevrolet on the north side of Indianapolis is having their event on Monday May 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. We also have our club meeting that night as well. They are going to empty the front lot for all our Camaros to park. Sweepstakes for all who are present, and tv coverage of the event. Also special guest's and special car's to be there. Hope we have "top down" weather!
