The camaro was the reason I wanted to see it, being an awesome movie was an uber bonus and Rachael Taylor was a double trouser bonus

i was a big t-former fan when i was young so i would have seen the movie either way, but the new camaro was a bonus. i also had to have the limited edition dvd, the case is a t-former itself its really cool.

I, too, and a TF fan and for me, having Camaro in there only made it better. I saw it on the 5th and people were just as excited when it first appeared after changing in the tunnel; they cheered too.
I was at Walmart at midnight the day it was released on DVD and will do the same when it's released on Bluray. I'm as excited to see TF2 as I was this last one, and probably more excited that BB will be back looking even better than before (IMHO.) So, to answer your question: You are not the only weird one, LOL.

Personally I went to see Transformers expecting them to screw it up, only to love it, then I seen the Camaro's and I was hooked and had to go again just for the Camaro's. And then I don't know how many times I've watched it on DVD.

I saw Transformers since I'm a lifelong Transformers fan. That the film turned me into a car nut as well is just an added bonus.

I was an 80s transformers kid, I actually have a crappy copy of all the original tv shows on VHS. My favorite TF has always been Bumblebee and was bummed when they said he wasn't going to be a VW Beetle, until I found out he was going to be a Camaro. That made me want to see the movie even more. I maybe a TF fan and a VW Beetle fan, but I am an even bigger Camaro fan. Now I can't wait to pull up to the theater to watch the second one in my new Camaro.

Not to mention nearly every Transformers comic ever released. LOL Soundwave (along with his cassettes) and the Insecticons will always be my favorites. |

I can't say that's why I went to see it, but can say that's why I rented the DVD. Back-forth, back-forth, back-forth.
