New Evil uaw president urges picketing Toyota...

Because causing the failure of the big 3 isn't enough...how about we try to bring the same disease to the other car companies who aren't tarnished by these union thugs great ability to kill the golden goose

Why can't these guys leave it up to the people to choose to work or not to work for a company that has the type of working arrangments they prefer?

Why is it that they feel the need to protest what someone else does? Don't they have their own problems to take care of instead of making trouble for other people??? Wouldn't the money an energy wasted on picketing be better put to more noble causes?

UAW membership went from over a million to around 300,000. Gotta get some new members from somewhere.

The UAW will never learn.

I always thought that there were a bunch of laws of social behavior that would account for the decrease in membership and they basically say that people tend to stay in their current condition unless something radically unappealing happens. Why would membership go down if the UAW was making their situation so great?

The uaw didn't spend 13billion to go into business with fiat, then 2 billion to get out of the deal, soon after whining about going broke. when u design and build crap, make bad business decisions, u go bankrupt.

Way back when...it was to protect the worker who what being abused. And it was good...

Today...it's a justification of existence. And sadly...it's pissing more people off than not.

My dad doesn't believe and has never joined a union for that exact reason.

Where did you get 13 billion? I believe GM bought 20% of Fiat for 2 million. The bad part of the deal was the "and we can make you buy the other 80% when we want to". That was the other 2.5 billion.... To buy their way out of having to buy the other 80%
