Aaaaand... Walking to my ride when I leave for the day. Usually there are a couple of vette's in the area, and I think people parking there are respectful.

Think I'm in good company ya know?

I think the majority of us on here tend to park alone ...

1. Park on the outskirts on the lot
2. Take one spot only; park between the lines
3. Park as close to the outside curb as possible (just in case)
4. Avoid taking the "nice" car during high-traffic times (Christmas, Black Friday, etc.)

Not once, ever, has anyone gone out of their way to park their car up close to mine. Other "nice" cars have parked in the general vicinity, but never in the space next to mine.

Weird how people in other areas of the country seem to have problems.

I park very far away at work in the corner and put a cone on the back corner of the car because It's near an entrance and people feel the need to drive as close as possible to my car pulling in...one of my employees feels the need to put a mini (about 1 ft big) camaro in the spot next to me daily. I find it funny.

I have had 1 door ding on my baby, 3 days after I bought her! I parked way out by my self with a no parking area on the drivers side, came back to the car and no shit, a ding right in the center of my drivers door! Somebody had to pull up, ding it, and drive away! WTF!! Now I drive the wife nuts when I forget I'm driving her truck with her and the kids. I'll park in "the back 40" and she won't even get out, she just sits there and stares at me until I start the truck back up and move closer.

There are only two options in life. Fight or flight. Most people run. Almost all people run. But not us. The difference between us and everyone else is that we run towards the gunfire. And that makes all the difference.
