Opinions on SLP SS Badges

Gonna get these this week and want to hear from those that have them.
http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=100032A

Are they good quality?
Easy to install?
Fit and Finish?
Overall impressions?

Basically any info you could share about these would be great. I know SLP makes nice stuff and I'm hoping these are no different cause I hate the gold bowtie's!!!

Pics would be great too.

Thanks, Anthony

I love mine and they set the car off a bit from the norm, IMO, this is how they should have come from the factory. GM is going for the retro, why did they square out the SS emblems. The bowties are a joke, no way to easily tell the V6 apart from the V8 without looking for the mail slot.

Are they good quality? Yes, very good
Easy to install? Medium effort, you need to remove the front and rear bowties which require a little patience .
Fit and Finish? Very good finish, the fit for the front one could be a little better since it sticks out a little. Not that bad and most will not notice.
Overall impressions? Love them!

I have'em and like'em. They're plastic, but the mounting pad is a perfect fit and the letters look great. Gives you the classic look.

I have an IOM and have done the front and rear. Piece of cake installation as long as you are patient. The rear Bowtie has alot of glue. Make sure you have a good glue solvent.

I love the look. I am still debating taking off the smaller red SS logos in the back and front.

I prefer the 5th Gen style font emblems vs the retro SS style. We had a group on here who were trying to make the 5th gen font SS's, but licensing became a problem.

There are already several of us who have the 5th gen style. I have red with flat black outlined, there's one guy with white and chrome outlined and another with CGM with black outlined.

I'm not a fan of that particular script, I don't like the way it looks on a modern Camaro.

Removing the original SS emblems is a must when doing this mod. The rear one comes off very easy with some dental floss, the front one takes some work but comes off cleanly.
