None of them are harder to install then the other. With that said I'd stay clear of RX and go with Elite.

I have the apex can, and it was super easy to install, and is easy to empty every week or so. Just unscrews from the bottom. It also looks stock. I've had friends look under my hood and not notice that It was aftermarket.

They're all pretty equal to install, but I prefer the ease of servicing from the Elite Engineering catch cans.
Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

Yep, Elite or Apex for ease of emptying. Both empty the same way.

I got Elite Engineering. I have never installed anything like this before. Took me maybe 45 minutes start to finish.

I recommend Elite as well. I don't consider myself to be mechanically inclined but the installation was straightforward. There is a great video out there with step-by-step instructions that really help.

can anyone answer this... I know the apex can is bigger, but can the media be removed from the elite catch can ...or in other words, can you replace the stainless steel wool in the center?

I did the Elite Catch can.. I had it done by a mechanic and rather than routing the hoses around the engine cover, I put a cutout in the corner of it so everything would be under it. It took him probably 10 minutes total to install, but another 10 or so do do the cutout. It looks awesome. I just emptied it after 1500 miles and here is what would have been in my engine..

The virtual one's are the easiest.
That said, I have the Apex and it was fun installing. Rather than ask which is easiest, perhaps ask which is best.
