Stupid Questions?

Hello Guys!

I am awaiting the arrival of my ZL1 and have a few questions.

I ordered the premium floor mats. Will they also send the standard mats that come with the car as well? Technically I am paying for them, no?

Is there a valet mod that keeps valet parking attendants from hot rodding your car? I know Ford has a feature like this.

some received "CAMARO" premium mats rather than the "ZL1" mats. You may want to confirm which you will get.

Ive seen on here that you can get a valet mode through onstar, I cant verify because I never have used it, an outdated useless feature foisted on us by GM

Why would you let somebody else drive your car?

As mentioned above make sure you get the Zl1 mat and not the Camaro premium mat.

Go Irish!

make sure to find the check list somewhere here on the ZL1 forums. There's a front valence and spring spacers that some dealers fail to put on/ take off respectively. I think most all dealers get it right, but there's 1 or 2 here that didn't.

Also, I got a clear bra on mine, and I really like it. YMMV.

What color/ transmission/ etc. . . did you get?

SikoRiko,

I don't plan to let anyone outside of my wife drive, but having a valet feature prevents a Ferris Bueller incident.

At first I went with the Crystal Red Metalic and just today within the last 20 minutes, I changed it at the dealer to Inferno Orange Metallic. The dealer wanted an additional $1500.00 deposit for making this change because they feel if I walk they'll never sell it.

I told them it was a surprise for the wife and could not give any more money or she'd find out for sure and signed for the changes and waked out. I went with the Auto, Carbon fiber weave, moon roof and Nav. Also got premium floor mats and trunk mat., they are not sure what floor mats I'm getting. How can I be sure? Now I'm concerned.

There are no stupid questions,............ only dumb answers

It's always best to do your own research on what you want to buy, chevy's own website is a great place to start, some sales people really know their products, many don't but it seems they will always answer your questions whether they do or not, Good luck with your purchase !

& yes, you should recieve the OEM mats also

Even if you do get the Camaro logo mats, you can still get the ZL1 mats off the internet for $100 + shipping or so.

I would never let a valet park A ZL1, not mine. All it takes is one open door from a car to ding it.

The mats for $100 are not OEM. In the long run it will be the OEM people want.
If the premium mats where ordered when you ordered the car, they may not be the right ones with ZL1 on them. So check on it.
