Lethal racing if you wanna go the Ls3 conversion route.

Can't go wrong either way.

Thank you for serving! We appreciate it.

If I had a L99 I would certainly consider VVT. As Nightmare stated they are really doing great things. There is a thread about VVT dominating LS3 conversions at the track...search for it and it shouldnt be hard to find. With that said i am biased to the Night Fury, and would certainly go that route of you were looking at the LS3 conversion. Lethal is amazing!

Give us a call, we can help with a vvt camshaft no problem. There is no scenario where the LS3 conversion will out power a VVT camshaft. Removing the VVT is a typical move by people unfamiliar with VVT, but you really cant beat a properly setup VVT camshaft.

Here's the L99 VVT thread that should answer your questions.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=257819

Like many others, I was under the assumption that to make serious L99 HP, one needed to do an LS3 conversion; however, after spending hours searching and reading, I'm going the VVT route. There's a lot of performance gains by having a tuned cam that advances timing at ~low rpms and retards timing at ~high rpms.

Enjoy your Camaro stateside.

Is a 6K $ quote for ls3 conversion, cam, install, dyno and alignment the average price?

That is a little on the high side but it will vary by location...

I have had many Canadians ship or drive down to us in NC, and still come out ahead price-wise
