Yeah, I always have to see a car in person before passing final judgement, sometimes pictures just don't do it justice, and then sometimes pictures can hide the ugly...

What do you mean by production intent? Is that EXACTLY what the car will look like.

The Camaro had production intent and was slightly different which was a bit of a bummer. Safety reasons or otherwise.

I don't think they ever showed off a "production intent" Camaro...

At any rate - say hello to the C7 as it will appear in showrooms!

What I meant by production intent was that they said they'd keep it as close to the concept as possible. (Camaro)

As long as my car will still beat a base model C7 in the quarter then I'll be happy.

I was afraid, based on the Jalopnik "spy renders"...glad they haven't lost their hack-job touch, because the real car is to die for!

From the sounds of it, this car is a tick better in all performance measures than a Grand Sport Corvette. A base car!!!

Sorry not a fan at all. Glad I got a ZL1 instead of holding out for this thing. Maybe seeing one in the flesh will change my mind as is often the case, but I'm not like it at all so far.

So there is finally a car on the road that I think looks better than mine.

I bet Chevrolet will take some heat over those tail lights but I like them.

The car over-all does have some gimmic qualities to it (much like the 4th Gen Firebird and Trans-Am) but since it's a Vette it will pull them off just fine in the real world. Mainly on the rear.

But there will be no doubt coming up behind one.
