Help restoring paint

My car has been through some pretty messed up S***. I've had my Black Camaro in Tucson for College for 9 months now and its gotten pretty beat up. It has small scratches all over the car swirl marks, nail marks by handle, and random somewhat very visible scratches all around the car. What I want to do is get the paint looking as good as possible. The car was egged on Halloween and the dealer wants to paint the back half of the car. Yay, Nay? What do I get done to the car. I want it looking as best it can. (saying its from a detailer) HELP!

Sincerely,
Gianni

Here's your thread. When you get done there, this is your next thread.

That will give you an idea as to what needs to happen.

Nail marks? Scratches? Egged? Man you need to start parking your car somewhere else.

The area around the college is horrible. Get yourself a beater car for taking to school. Just a suggestion.

NO. You basically bought a door stop. They do however, make really nice door stops.

I got one as a gift for Xmas and did some reading and the reviews weren't very good. So I returned it to Sears and just paid the difference for the PC 7424 that they have on their website. Still waiting to use it though since it rains practically everyday lately.
