Researching for my next round of upgrades
I want to go a little bit further with my car, mainly to help get more airflow in and out quicker and lower iat some more (list of current mods below).
I'm looking at porting the SC, 102mm TB, and Maybe ported heads. I've been researching about porting the SC and came across that some guys just port the inlet to the SC and not the runners, than some companies port both. Wouldn't you want to port the runners as well or are the runners not as big of a restriction like the inlet? My snout was ported by the previous owner, which is like putting the cart before the horse because its still running the LSA tb and non ported sc. Next question is about the LSA heads, with my mods would my stock heads be efficient, make good power, and flow great for my combination or would a set of ported LSA heads really be worth the cost? Thanks for any insight or advice!! I would look into having Jeremy Formato of Fasterproms do your port work and definitely get your heads ported. I just had the stock TB ported on my build.

Your moving a lot of air now with your mods, a set of good flowing aftermarket heads would be worth a good amount of power. I haven't done much research on ported stock LSA heads but there is so many great aftermarket options out there to run. Even look into a aftermarket LS3 head. I know I am going with a mast or Frankenstein when the time comes

factory heads will do you just fine once you get them worked over.

Thanks for the input guys, HX is at the top of my list. How many of you guys get the optional fan upgrade with the HX?

Ron Davis heat exchanger will do you just fine. I got mine from JDP and they were very good to deal with.

Port work on the heads seems like the most logical step to go to next after all the mods you've already done. But, you're still running the factory fuel system. You'd better check your fuel pressure above 5000 RPMs because I doubt that you are holding 65 PSI like it should.
