ZL1 vs 2014 SS rear brakes?
I plan using ZL1 front brakes for autocross. Are the rears on my SS the same as the ZL1 except for color of brake Caliper?

I thought the rears on the ZL1 were the same as the SS fronts which would make the SS rears different. I think I'm correct here.

I just installed a set of the rear dust shields which are part of the ZL1 rear brake upgrade kit (22989384).
There is no way the SS front calipers would fit in the space allotted for the calipers in those dust shields. The SS rear Brembos fit just fine.

As posted the SS rear and ZL1 rear are the same. I have a good deal on the CTS-V front brakes if interested. The CTS-V and ZL1 use the same calipers and pads, the only difference is the CTS-V comes with a lighter dual cast 1-piece rotor compared to the ZL1 2-piece rotor. This is a lot less expensive than the ZL1 upgrade.

The ZL1 rear and SS rear are the same. Look into the CTS-V setup for the fronts. Same thing for less money.
