Will do

Do you have any place to weigh the car near you? Would like to see what it weighs when you are done. Would be awesome if you got it to around 3,600 lbs give or take.
Not including what I just mentioned I have already removed ~175lbs. So with that my total weight removed so far would be ~245. I think in the first post of this thread half way through there is an updated list with what I have already done so far. There is a place right down the street from me where I can weigh the car. I'm not home now but I have an excel spreadsheet with other things I can do for weight loss and I think 3600 is doable honestly.

Not too sure, was going to try the SLP 25% underdrive pulley and see how that works out.

I was thinking this myself, but going even shorter to bypass the power steering pump as well.

I can understand a lot of people being very cautious about some of this stuff especially with the crash bars but idk I feel determined to do this haha! Win or lose I enjoy racing.

I will very much be looking forward to seeing what your car ends up at when you take it and get it weighed. I'd very happy if my car was at 3,600 or less lbs.

The last time I weighed my car it came in at 3720lbs. That was with a full tank of gas and with the rear seat still in. With what I plan on doing I think I will be about 10lbs or so above 3600 with a full tank but I know I can find that weight somewhere else and get the car down below 3600 with a full tank.

The good news is you'll lose some more weight if you go race at 1/2 tank or less.

That is what I was thinking too. When I get those drag radials I figured I traction wouldn't be too much of an issue so I could run with like 1/3 tank or even 1/4 tank of gas to save more weight. One nice thing when I get these drag radials is that not only will my 60ft go down but whenever i go down the track my car spins the tires when it goes into second which def takes up some valuable time so hopefully that won't happen now. I know down in Indy I didn't have a problem with that since the track was prepped so amazingly.

Thanks me neither! I just wished I lived some place where the DA could be in the negatives for a good amount of time. Right now in Upstate NY usually the track closes before that is possible.

This is serious coin but it would be weight reduction to replace things like the rear diffuser with carbon fiber. Group buy:

I feel like you wouldn't save much weight from that stuff... I bet if you did it all, you might save 15-20lbs total, but you'd spend 4k... I'd say it's more for looks (for people that like carbon fiber) than anything.

I saw that the other day. I have nothing but the utmost respect for what the Moreno Brothers have accomplished so far but I have to draw the line somewhere haha. I agree with Jason and think the weight loss won't be that great and it is mainly for people who like the CF look (which I don't) and just have $$ to blow lol.

I was interested in the cooling plate cause I am still trying to figure out how to remove more weight from the front of the car since a good chunk of it has come from the back but after seeing how much it was I had to pass.
