You can use a Oracle LED strip and mount it upward to give you the look picture above

Use tape to hold it temporarily in place and experiment till you get the look you want. Then mount it permanently in place. There is no right or wrong answer to your question. It's all about your taste and desires.

I'm looking to do the same thing. Do you have to take the front bumper off.

I've seen it mounted directly behind the grill, installed with double side tape directly behind and to the top of the grill.

Mine is installed with a couple of zip-ties to some pre-drilled holes that are in front of the radiator (seen when looking through the grill.

With the heritage grill, you may need to remove the front bumper. On the stock grill, I was able to install the light bar by removing the black plate where the hood patch is.

I glued mines above the grill facing downward and my bumper was already off once I was installing halos at the same time then wired them to the fuse box because the battery is to far away

that is my car and what i did was 3m in to the front brace of the car so it reflects off the radiator so it shows tho both grills. then ran the wires to the fuse box and and tapped the positive to the front bolt of the fuse box and then grounded the black wire.
