Ford, I know your jealous.
On the way home a truck pulls out in front of me leaving the Ford dealership. I blew past him and when we got up to the light he gets beside me. He rolls his window down and in a arrogant voice says:
"Let me tell you something, GM finally made a car that sounds almost as good as our Mustang" I notice he's wearing a Ford dealer shirt, and before I could say anything back he pulls off... I gave some revs when I passed him again and he just shook his head and smiled. I guess he should go check out those monthly sales, haha. Hit 1000k on my JBA performance exhaust today and it sounds amazing. Chevrolet is blowing them away and I'm so happy to see our great Camaro's roaming the streets. |

I mean...I don't hate them like I want to kill all Ford owners, but I have and will continue to make cutting remarks about Ford whenever I can...even if (gasp) I respect -some- of the older Ford muscle cars. I do, however, hate the look of the newer Mustangs for the most part...so why would I "like" Ford. Add to that, that Ford does things like say Ford pickups are America's best selling truck when they combine all their models into that figure, when they split out Chevy/GMC by model. Disingenous, and pretty much an outright lie. You don't have to understand it...just admit it exists, and that there's nothing wrong with a little healthy competition

I don't understand all this tribalism, or indeed loyalty to one brand. I've owned several makes of car, including a couple of Mustangs, and buy purely on whether I like what they're offering at the time. Buying one make of car to me, would be like having pizza for dinner every day, and get a little old.
