That rig wont be going anywhere near deals gap... atleast from the NC side. It was just outlawed anything over 30feet in length. Good looking rig though

"North Carolina has done what Tennessee won't do ...... ban trucks heading to the DRAGON. It is now illegal for trucks longer than 30 feet to operate on US 129 anywhere from US 19/74 all the way to the NC/TN State Line. They are also banned on NC 28 from NC 143 all the way to US 129. Also on the ban list is the entire Cherohala Skyway in North Carolina."

well its a good thing we aren't going that way anyway.

and my group is leaving wednesday morning to arrive wednesday evening/night.

Thanks Spike! That was what I was thinking! We had actually planned on Wednesday, but everyone else was stating Thursday! Guess we will be hooking up with you then!

D'Shante, there are things that will be going on Thursday and the cruise will be Thursday night! Words from Dragoneye himself! Y'all might want to rearrange some plans!

I was just about to comment on this. Fest activities are kicking off thursday evening for those looking to drive thursday. Obviously, some aren't going as far so time frames are a little different for everyone.

Not to mention... for me personally, as a mod, I need/have to be there before things start to help organize everything.

Well, I don't think Spike had decided for sure when he was leaving when the OP was made!

Anywho..........I'm thinking some of us can't leave til Thursday (me included!) So if y'all plan to leave Wednesday, you may need to hook up with Spike at some point, and then we need to have another Camarovan leaving Thursday. Which one of you brilliant techies can set up a poll to assess who can leave Wednesday and who can leave Thursday?

I have another very long "car vacation" planned for June (Hot Rod Power Tour) and I DO have a job.......so I can't take too many days........people at work already think I'm kinda crazy with the car obsession
