oh, I agree. if given the choice, id take the vette over the viper, unless I wanted bragging rights on the quickest 200mph time. lol but if the vehicles were offered to me for free...id take the veyron, drive it for a couple months, then trade it in for the vette and the gallardo

GM should make a 1000+hp supercar, just to shame the euro's. Then offer it at 1/4 the price of the veyron

and plus we dont need 1000hp in a car we drive daily, unless we live at the track. I could live with 900hp. lol

yeah, but that beast was only a concept. Im talking about a real car, produced in limited numbers, that has more power than any other car in the world. Purely for bragging rights of course and not practical in the least.

What's the minimum HP we're getting?
Greetings, I'm 18 years old and I currently dont drive a car because I'm waiting for the '09 Camaro to release in Europe.
However, I'm wondering what the minimum HP of the car is? 300? I'll have to get the "lowest" engine available because in Belgium a car with 400 hp has to pay over 1500 EUR roadtax, which is about 1800 USD and the insurance will be around 1800 EUR, 2100 USD? If the owner is older than 26 ... So that means I'd have to pay double, which is 3600 EUR insurance and 1500 road tax, That makes over 5000 EUR a year and thats impossible for a young kid like me. If I can get a 300hp or less it will be about 1200 EUR roadtax and a ~2800 EUR insurance, but if I get it insuranced on my dad his name I'd have to pay 1200 EUR + ~1500 which is doable if I earn 1600 EUR a month. but then I'd have to put my dream of having my own house aside :P Ok I'll get back on topic ... What is the lowest amount of hp the 09 camaro is getting? I really want the Camaro but I'm worried about the insurance etc |

No one truly knows the answers since it's not been announced.
All we know is, a V6 is going to be the 'cheap' option (we won't get that here in the UK, oh no). |

I couldn't care less about the UK tho, since the steering wheel is at the wrong side :P
But are they going to ship cheap V6 Camaros to Europe or not? :/ |
