I read some great reviews for the product you recommended, thanks

Sorry it took so long to respond back. My biggest concern with the clear coat idea is that rattle can paint work very rarely turns out as good in the real world as it looked in our heads. At least that's been my experience. If you decide to go that way down the road I would highly recommend getting a paint shop to do it for you. Their paint products are going to last longer, look better, and if there are any mistakes made you have someone other than the guy in the mirror to holler at and have fix it. I know I only tend to see the small errors in my own work so it would drive me insane if it didn't turn out perfect. I might not see an issue someone else did.

Again, my 2 cents.

Hope you like the wax, I do.

Karl

What the heck is this, I put out a post and you take all these days to reply, hell man. LOL

Seriously though, I got the wax and will try this weekend. I will wait to do any painting to the wheels and have them done professionally.

Great advice and thanks for your time

Jim

SUXXOST, I found this thread in the ZL1 forum that has ZL1 wheel weights (post #3). http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...k+wheel+weight

I scoured the web and that's all I could come up with for wheel weight. Perhaps someone has weighed their wheels and wouldn't mind sharing!

I just got mine about a week ago for $309 each at Discount Tire. I told them that's how much CostCo wanted for them and they price matched them without question.

AWESOME tire by the way.

What spray or foam do you all use on your 1LE rims? It took me longer to clean the rims than it did my whole car. Any advise will help.

Has anybody measured how much inboard clearance is available up front after negative camber is max'd?
Thinking of getting one of these for autocross, wanted to see how feasible it would be to run a 305-19 up front, how much room there is for more width.

Just wondering if anyone has bought an extra set of rims and tires and had a problem with the TPMS linking up with the second set of rims and wheels? I'm about to buy a complete set of rims and wheels for winter driving and was wondering if anyone had any problems. Also what did you guys use as your second set of TPMS? Thanks for your help and time.

Yep

Sad when you can ship the entire car for about $700.

I went to Sam's Club which is similar to Costco and BJ's. They sell the Michellin Pilot Sport A3 for $312.00 per tire. They don't stock them but said they can get them in 3 to 5 business days. The person helping me said they will not install them because they don't have the proper equipment to work with low profile tires and would damage the wheels mainly by scratching them all up. Do you think the Chevrolet dealers would price match these tires and or do you think they would install them if you purchased them somewhere else?
