We'll get our numbers in due time. Camaro Team has never been shy about performance figures. Just perhaps reserved until the right time.

My guess (only that), is that's they are trying to work out how to market a lap time of a car that could very well be faster than their fastest Corvette (at present).

Here is the answer to that problem and then the C8 mid-engine will move the Corvette up market freeing the Camaro completely. Makes me wonder if this engine will make its way to the gen6 Camaro in its final years.

Ah, yes...I forgot...The Camaro must not make any noise or headlines lest the King of the jungle Corvette becomes upset....Let's all pretend the 1LE's lap times are just a nuisance until the time is right to get any real facts about the track and lap times....

We must honor the legacy, tradition, and heritage of the foggy non-relevant past and wait our turn...

Got it...

They're actually putting "real" springs in the car? Man - that's such a relief. Not that a whole lot of people will be concerned with changing the spring rates out. But, for a few of us, that's a really nice thing to be able to do.

In order to put coilovers on my G8 (real ones, like Koni/Bilstein/Penske - not some 10-way adjustable crap), I had to cut, fabricate, and re-weld the upper shock mounts for BOTH front and rear shocks. And make a custom sleeve for the fronts. Fun . . . but not easy.
