replacing tires, go with pirelli?

Hey guys, about to pull trigger on new tires finally at the end of the month. Ordering the stock Pirelli P Zero's, just wondering about some input. I'm in FL so cold isn't an issue, just wanting really good traction for a good price and thinking stock is where i'll end up. v6 with rs package.

blackSSRS, YES, for your application, there are really good tires that will perform for you, will last a lot longer AND be cheaper all at the same time. When it was time for me to do the same thing, and I TOO have a v6 RS, I got a set of General GMAX AS-03's....I've put 10K on them so far and I love them.....and at this point they show very little wear.

I am one of few, but I really like the PZeros, I also put them on my 22s (PZero Nero) and have been happy. They aren't cheap and there are grippier options, but they ride nice and are quiet.

I put Pzeros back on mine because a couple of my buddies tried a few other tires and a bunch of them were noisey and didn't handle as good. I'm sure that there are better for cheaper but Chevy put these tires on them for a reason. They do a lot of testing before they they just throw a set of tires on a sports car..

I love my BFG's. Meaty, quiet, seem wider and plenty of grip on wet conditions. Did I mention good looking too?

They have a wider tread width than round edged P-zeros.

I have been reading good things about Mickey Thompson street comp. You may want to look into them.

This was my exact reasoning for buying another set of PZeros to go on my Forgestars.
