Also built and hopefully in transit...I'm not calling the dealer or asking for any more info until I get the call...from this point on, I want to be surprised (still hoping for delivery next week or the week after, looks like I was built on 5/20 from what I've seen from other members VIN's)

Got my VIN 2G1FT1EW1A9112004, today. My Baby was born on the 25th of May in our year of the lord 2009 A.D. GM Customer Service lady (real nice) by the name of Denise told me the news, and that is was in the inspection phase outside the assembly plant and would be at the dealership in 1-3 weeks. Got the VIN from my Dealer Order Guy......

they are likely over 400 a day, but their production line is steady. just ask "theMole".
the vin numbers are likely surging cause they are slow to enter the data into the computer that updates the statuses to the dealers. in one day they might update several days worth of vins into the system, but they log the vin issue date as the date entered into the computers not the day it rolled off the line. at any rate the dates people here are posting as their production date are often out of sequence with their vin numbers.... but, i think i saw a 12000+ today
