Dang just got back from vaca, hope I am not late with this lol. Looks like I will prob just do 7/31 to 8/3. Does anyone know if they will actually charge me now or am I just put on a list for a room?

Did you make host hotel reservations yet? They shouldn't charge for the room till you check out!

If you use a debit or check card, reservations will put a hold on your money as if you had actually spent it. Been there :(, done that . Used my check card, but was planning to pay with cash at checkout, caused some checks to bounce.
No matter how you plan to settle up at checkout, use a major credit card to book reservations. A "hold" on your credit line will not show up on your statement or be charged interest on unless and until the actual transfer takes place.
