Possible to put LS3 in place of LS1??
Hi
Is it possible to put LS3 engine on my LS1 CAMARO SS ?? or the gear need to be changed also?? cauz im thinking to replace my current LS1 to LS3 engine any advice and tips?? |

cauz the LS3 engine is avalible around 6500 USD and my current engine its mixing oil with water AGIAN!! ,i did overhaul for it before monthe's but unfortunately this time is decreasing the amount of oil in the engine and im finding them in the radiator agian where i can find LSX engine?? |

no you do not have to change the transmission, the LS3 engine will bolt in place of any LSx engine,,

It will fit very well. The LS3 is a great motor. I would recommend, however, having some fun before the install. Make sure to upgrade some internals in case you want a beast in your garage.

We will be selling our brand new Ls3 from our 2010
Just wanted to let you know we will have our 2010 LS3 available .

yes it is doable. I would think for the price you could build an ls1 with simular or better performance for much much less. A set of heads and a cam on an ls1 will go a long way and be cheaper. If you build an ls1 stroker you can get the same displacment or better than the ls3.
