EXTREME brake-squeal under heavy braking

Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my brakes. Both front/back pads/rotors were replaced within the past 5000 miles and there's no issue when driving normally. However, when the brakes get hot under *spirited* driving on curvy roads, the brakes squeal like there's no tomorrow - almost a metal on metal piercing shriek. Does anyone know what I should get checked out first? The brakes don't feel any different, but it's hard to describe how loud the shriek is under heavy braking - I feel like anyone can hear me coming from miles away. I won't push the brakes too hard at all until I have this fixed, I'm just not exactly sure what the issue is. Thanks!

Sorry to read about the concerns with your brake squeal. I can understand how concerning this matter would be. Have you considered an official GM diagnosis? If so, I'd be happy to play a role in that process! Feel free to send me a private message if you'd like.
