2015 1LE Suspension question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm about to trade in my 2010 2SS on a 2015 1LE. I have Eibach Springs and Swaybar on the 2010. Few questions:

1) Should I remove them before trading?

2) Will they fit on the 2015?

3) is it even worth it do the swap? I'm worried about body roll.

4) Will it make the suspension any better on rhe 2015 if I do or is it that much better?

Also, is the airbox interchangible? I have a CAI Box on the 2010. If it will fit on the 2015 I'd like to keep it for that. The dealership isnt going to give me a dime more for any of the mods I've done. Again Thanks

I know the CAI will fit on the '15.
Not sure about the suspension mods but the 1LE has much better suspension than a 2010 SS

Yup. OP take that stuff off, keep the CAI and springs(? if you want to lower the 1LE) and sell the swaybars to a 10-11 SS owner.

Those springs are progressive, and the ones on the 1LE are linear. I wouldnt use those on the 1LE.

Here is my $.02,
The Chevy team looked at the Boss 302 and built a Camaro to beat it, and they did it with handling! The 1LE is a SS with a bad-ass suspension package, look at the list off the things they added. I did some spirited driving on an on ramp and hit .86G's, with no tire noise at all! My car is my DD, so I look at things from that angle. I would drive it the way it is and if you want something different out of the car, I'm sure somebody makes it, LOL

Nothing more fun than watching the g's! I did 1.01 g just pulling in the neighborhood lastnight. My 2012 zl1 would do 1.2 g before starting to slide

Yes, I have hit 1.01 and 1.02 with no noise from the tires. They are very well behaved and the oversteer is gone compared to the standard SS and much more then the 2010 SS which I used to have as well. As already mentioned the sway bar won't fit and the springs are not worth the time to uninstall and swap to the new car. IMO you will be better off getting new springs if you want to lower it.
