Saw first Gen 6 1LE in person today...

Parked next to a new ZL1 in their delivery area...

My local dealer still hasn't got their ZL1 or the 1LE cars in yet, stuck in transit.

A few more pics of the 1LE...and wheels/brakes.

They do the N2 fill (thus the "non-factory" green TPMS valve stem cap) to scalp a few more bucks...

You've inspired me to check out my local Chevy dealer to see if they have any of these beauties sitting around

Guys, I gotta admit, when you see the ZL1 next to the 1LE, it's really just not fair to the 1LE. Sort of like a super model next to an "8"....

I disagree...

Except for the hood, I think (and most on the forum seem to agree) that the SS 1LE looks better. The SS 1LE has better looking wheels, and doesn't have that awful wing on the back of it. I also don't like how the ZL1's lower LED's are vertical like the 4 and 6 cylinder's.

I too prefer the look of the 1LE. And not that I couldn't afford a ZL1. However, they are both great choices and there is even the base C7 GS which looks awesome. This is probably the best time for American performance since the 60s.

I like the ZL1 front end better than the normal SS. Everything else about the 1LE I prefer. Wheels, spoiler, hood etc.

I couldnt afford a ZL1 so this is the next best thing from GM right now for a track ready car. Outside of a GS.

Same here completely!!! Love the look of the front end (and the ground effects) but don't really like the rest.

I could afford a ZL1 but I really don't want a $1000 a month payment, so I think I will spend a little extra coin on the 1LE later for the ZL1 bits that I do like. I will definitely be getting the side rockers and possible the full front fascia some where down the line!
