My SS REALLY woke up!
My car just hit 2500 miles this past weekend. I've really been babying it until it has been broken in. Anyhow, I was on my way to a local cruise in today, and 2 girls in a G6 start messing around with me. I'm running along in 2nd gear about 30mph, and I punched it, and the tires broke loose and I could feel the tail end moving from side to side slightly. The surprising thing is that this was with all of the nannies on. I knew the engine would loosen up some, but WOW! I love this car!!!

Mine kind woke up around then but I noticed a bigger difference at 5000ish. Started getting good gas milage then too! But its a great feeling when it does and the thrill only gets better! Be safe and enjoy!

I'm still going to enjoy the 4th gen even after the new one arrives. I just wish they'd release the prices for the 2011 already. I know I could order now but I'd rather know exactly how much I'm spending before I sign the dotted line. I thought about just getting a 2010 off the lot now but I really want to go through the process of ordering it just like I want it. Plus after seeing the HUD in the 2011 at C5F.... I gotta have it. |

It was kinda pointless for me to ask the question because the first day I had her I got her up to 150 in 4th....they told me to have fun when i was driving away from the dealership so that's exactly what i did! 380 miles on the odometer right now...drives like a beast!

My daughter took her 2SS 6A up to 125 when she was about 15 miles from the dealer, she said she just couldn't resist it!
