I never actually saw mine go to 4300 because I think it happened over a weekend, but assuming my hood was wrapped over the weekend and was at 4300, then on Monday the 14th I was at 4B00, was bayed until the 17th when it showed 4200 shipped. It arrived at the dealership on the 23rd. So my total time from 4300 to delivery was about 11 days.
Thanks! I appreciate the additional info. Wish I knew how long mine has been at 4300. You fly Lear 35's? I flew the military version--C-21's for 4 years in the Air Force. Fun airplane but a bit cramped for my 6'2" height.

Absolutely--free money in my opinion. I use the GM card for daily purchases and pay it off at the end of the month to accumulate points. Doesn't cost me anything and I've redeemed thousands on the new GM cars/trucks I've purchased. In addition, as previously mentioned, it gets you on the mailing list for additional special offers.

Make sure you post up when you get the car. Think you will be impressed with the fit and finish!
Awesome pic! I thought there'd me more pics so far in the thread, you're the first.

You are correct in regards to the baffle position on start-up between the Corvette and Camaro. The Vette's are closed. That is why I'm not sure if mine will work or not, but I saved it anyway. If I can't use it, I'll sell it on the Corvette forum.

I don't anticipate it will be too difficult to get the power/weight ratio to where I want it. The Corvette was at approx 7.5lbs/hp and the 1LE is at approx 9lbs/hp. If I didn't do any weight reductions, it'd take about 510 fwhp to get the 1LE's ratio to 7.5lbs/hp. I am definitely a heads/cam guy over FI. Mainly because I don't want to add additional weight to the car. My interests are also heavily biased towards road course events. It's hard to not experience heat soak with FI when running 20-30min hard. Both of those reasons are big considerations on shying away from the ZL1. All that said, my goal is to start with weight reduction first and see what I can accomplish.

Either way, I'm excited to get this Camaro and start having some fun with it!

There is a very good weight reduction thread here... I'll poke around and see if I can find it. There are only a couple of NA LS3 that have reached that magical 500 rwhp. Looking forward to your build.
