They won't tell you...and Scott may or may not get in here. But these threads about blue have been forwarded to "the powers that be" and Cheryl Pilcher (the Camaro product manager) is using such threads, and discussion to help make a case for offering blue on the Camaro to the people who can approve such things. So they're listening. Just keep telling them that we want BLUE available on the SS Camaro!!

You guys need to calm down. GM wouldn't offer a color for the v6 and not for the SS. You guys will probably just get the SS later in the year because it seems like it's one of the last colors produced.

This excellent photoshop with the white stripes, just convinced me I would settle for Imperial blue, rather than only a lighter blue.

Jetstream Blue or a similar Blue. I don't like the Aqua or Imperial for the Camaros much. The Imperial is too dark for the Camaro in my opinion, it is a great blue though on some other cars. My truck is very close to Imperial Blue Metallic, but my truck has alot of smooth-round surfaces, no harsh-angular ones like on the Camaro.

So if GM doesn't throw us a bone by adding Jetstream to the SS line-up, then Im getting a White one and putting down the money to get it painted Jetstream.

A NOTE TO GM!!!-----I would much rather pay you $300 dollors for the factory premium paint color (just like the Red Jewel option), than pay a Body and Paint shop $2000 to paint on top of white. Im sure you could get alot of money by adding Jetstream as a premium color option for the SS Camaros.

Personally, i would much rather have an Inferno Orange Camaro, but for many people blue is a defining color. I would hate for GM to lose sales on something as paint color.

I have to have an SS, it would be nice to have a blue to choose from. If GM has to limit colors than limit the LS,not the SS. I want a Mulsanne or Nassau blue or similar.

I lied, since I cant get a White one, I ordered a Silver Ice one. I expect to get it painted in Jetstream in about a year, enough time to actually get knicks in the Silver paint, so I dont feel likes its a waste to get a brand new car painted. I would rather take it straight to Paint shop when I drive it off the lot, but I doubt thats gonna happen.

if i got blue i would have to go with aqua blue metallic with a white singe cowl stripe and white hockey stripes or black stripes
