That's really good to know that camaro are talking over mustang. About the challenger is way to heavy, over price and is the slowest of all

I believe today is the last day of the 2011 model year, so we should have total 2011 production numbers on Tuesday.

I really wish the challenger was doing better in sales. I love the look of it and if I ever get some more money on me I'd get this along with my camaro!

Not too bad. Considering the '12s are coming soon, I think sales will pick back up again before we know it.

the five-oh is selling. ford with lower production may be the only thing that holds it back. good for resale however.

I love my Camaro but I still like seeing all the Mustangs and Challengers around, too. It's musclecar heaven. I really thought those days were gone, at least for new cars.
They're all good looking cars although we know the Camaro looks and sounds the best. Hey, all those ecoweenies can drive their microcars. Give me a Yankee/Canuck, rip roaring, V-8, 400+ hp, tire shredding, hot rod, pulse pounding, men-still-have-their-balls musclecar. And suck on my exhaust, granola breath. :5thgenvert: :flag1:

Hmm, interesting to see the spike in Mustang sales in June. Anyone have any theories as to what motivated that?

Well, if you look at the graph the Mustang had a bad dip in the previous month May. I believe they where held up a bit on the availability of the V6. Also realize the Mustang started their 2012 model at the beginning of the year. I have a theory they are looking to outsell the Camaro in the 2012 model year just by having a long run. I see no other reason to push the 2012 out that early, it wasn't like they had any changes or upgrades from the 2011 model. They may have added a color or two. |
