Maybe its a track package. Maybe with this track package it becomes a Z28. Same way the RS package works on the SS and v6 models. That would also exsplain why these cars are not badged with ZL1 on them.

Is it me or are some of the camaro colors too dark. IOM looks almost red and IBM looks almost black unless in direct sunlight? Perfection would have been a couple shades lighter in these colors, esp blue.

However, CGM is complete and utter bad-assness from all angles.

Yea same here. I have had many dark colored vehicles and want to go the other route this time. Black looks awesome when it is clean but it shows the smallest spec of dirt or dust. But damn that CGM w/ the SSx wheels looks pretty damn good. If I can get it like the photoshop white that would be sweet. I am going to work on getting the decals for the polished wheels.

Or is it just cuz these are test cars ?
They don't badge test cars....usually...even some of the show cars (white one) wasn't badged properly. Which, imo, is good because it shows they're a little more concerned with the performance/testing of the car than badges at this point.

Looking at those three pics, I'd definitely have the ssx wheels polished. If it came to price then (crazy me) I might go with the ssx wheels stock, and then later on purchase either a second set of ssx wheels and have them polished, or a set of the zl1 polished rims.

I agree. Drop-dead gorgeous.

Looking at the racing Silver car...it's obviously under some hard acceleration in that picture - and look at how little it rises in the front, and squats in the rear...also a great look.

The Silver one is gunning hard, so the rear is squatted down, the CGM one is making a turn, so that side of the car is going to squat down.

Not saying that the spring rates haven't been adjusted, just saying that it appears to be mostly physics to me

Or just IOM camaros in general?
The colors in person are no where near the same, but yes in photo form or on the web you can sometimes mistake the two. IOM for Victory red, etc and vice versa. I think the better the camera that takes it shows the best contrast between the two colors when they are posted on the forum. Thats one reason why I am going to stop taking photos with my Iphone 4 and go back to using my cheap HP digital camera. The cheaper digital camera was made to take photos. The Iphone 4 while it takes ok shots from time to time its basic function is a cell phone. But Im getting bit off topic here. Sorry for that.
Carry on!

I have toyed with this idea...get the wheels I want then also order the other set as a fun toy idea. Change em out when ever ya want. A set of dress shoes to show off and a set of racing shoes to race!
Best of both worlds.
