Yea, Im more of a turn the traction control off and go kinda guy. I cant handle all the choices! I guess I just knew I would run 11.70 so Im dissapointed with a .90. Either way it was better than work

At least you didn't go backwards.

Keep at it and the times will fall. I still have faith that you will get this car in the 11.80s with stock tires. I just hope you can do it before the weather goes away. Are the Nittos taller then the stock tires?

Yea maybe 1.5" taller. The weather for us is already in the toilet and since the car won't be tuned I foresee heat soak and pulled timing.

How much air was in the DR's?

DR's will often lower MPH due to lower PSI. You always want to run as much pressure as possible while still getting traction.

Congrats on an 11 second run with stock power though

I must be retarded because I was having issues right off the bat with traction control, I could not figure out why the car would NOT do a burnout or leave clean without cutting power in any mode or off. Well after it was too late I found out it was in touring not sport and that makes all the difference in the world. Here is a slip, NOW I was leaving about the same as I was with the F1s and my 60' is only .01 faster on the DRs. Have no idea why I lost 2 mph tonight either, I guess it just wasn't my night.
I'm curious what the overall weight difference is between that SS w/ NT555 and your ZL1 OE Wheel/Tire.. Maybe that's your 2MPH difference. SS wheels are heavy and I thought the ZL1s were supposed to be much lighter.

I actually think the SS wheel/tire combo is lighter, not confirmed though.

When I swapped them at the track I picked up 1 of each and I thought the ZL1 wheels were heavier but by no means is that scientific data.
