I think the word they are using is "controlled" production... which doesn't constitute a limited edition or limits on production...

called my dealer today... expect 7500 - 8500 over a fully loaded 2SS which is starting at 42k... (: 2 more days!

I found out last year it was going to be $80k/cdn, which is now, ummm... $80k/US. LOL

I'm telling you Drake, and maybe you're just going to have to trust me...they don't know pricing. None of them. Even if they had contacts within GM who were slipping information...they're still just guessing.

And it would have been impossible to have known for sure what his allocation would have been months before they decided on an allocation plan. I have no idea who this dealer is...but I already don't like the smell of them...

perhaps... but i mean they were right and got three... its all legit bc i have an order number and i built my car and im at 1102 also the other two people who i know personally put there deposit down back in july as well... js idk im just goin off of that they knew alot of things ahead of time... thats all im saying...

i think it did get leaked... people know and just arent saying it bc it will be formally announced on wed or thur at the auto show... i believe it got leaked... i wasnt even supposed to know but since my sales rep is a god friend he told me what was said by the GM in the noon meeting today... to talk about the zl1

All that means is they have at least three ZL1s for a guide number. Hopefully...otherwise there's going to be some pretty P.O'd customers at that franchise...

It has no bearing on their knowledge of price...and based on the number they provided you - I think it supports my theory that they are...respectfully...full of $h!t...

It's mildly upsetting to me to hear of a dealer without enough integrity to just say "I don't know, yet"...the truth.:(

like i said i respect your theory... it is just comforting that i have a range or possible range... im getting this regardless but the less it is... is more saved... im having my FAITH again lol (:

Does seem a bit weird, however I still ordered mine but people willing to pay over MSRP, I bought my Pace Car ahead of time when I couldnt find any anywhere and they were going almost $60000, I got mine MSRP and now I was looking into selling it and it appears most I will get is a couple thousand more than I paid for it, now those are limited to 500, 50 going to canada and 50 festival cars and I have to wait years for this to be worth anything more. Regarding the ZL1 its going to be badass but in 1-2 years will it be worth even near what we are going to pay(for those who care), you know 2013 the ZL1 conv will be out than who knows after that!!! Just my thought!!
