Totally right! I believe that it would make more sense to ban schools than guns. Schools have become more dangerious than guns.

he will be classified as a gun nut by the liberals and marginalized....

I mean the polls done by the government showed 2 out of 3 and 4 out of 5 in different polls of Americans are against outlawing guns...yet they are still going forward with such....why would anyone think they would listen to anyone like this guy.

Sadly there are those that will discount his opinion simply because only a friend of his daughter was murdered. So how could he possibly know what all this really means?

I've had this conversation with many and the thing that puts gun opponents in pause is simply that I need the ability to have equal or greater force than anyone who can endanger my family or my home. And the day the government and our leaders can guarantee that would never happen I'll consider the need for my current rights. He hit it on the head. He will not give up the right to protect his daughter in a manner afforded to him by the constitution.

All Congress is doing is business as usual. They are putting a known dead issue in the front of the line to take up time so they can railroad us later with something and tell us they don't have time to hash it out, we need to pass this now, it is the right thing to do. Then we find out it has all these hidden land mines in the bill that hurt everyone somehow while simultaneously lining their pockets or aiding their special interests.
