sorry man but youre killing us with your CTSV, the ZL1 shares the same stuff you got on your V, so you can still do everything you've done on your V on a Camaro.

Now since I had 4 Z06's in the past few years ranging from NA to SC to TT to a ZR1 I could tell you yes vettes are light and fast, very fast. Like I said in another thread my Camaro feels slow with 20psi through a 427, call me nuts if you wish but im comparing it to the corvettes which weigh 1000lbs less than your average Camaro and that is HUGE.

Im now chasing weight reduction mods because I don't want to turn up the power anymore than this.

On the positive side, you can do things with a Camaro that you simply cannot with a Corvette, a corvette is tiny, has inferior cooling and you cant even squeeze your little finger into the enginebay between parts if you have a TT system on. You can stick a big ass turbo in a Camaro, a big ass blower, have lots of cooling, more traction and so on.

But let's be honest... Who wants a ZL1? The thing was a huge disappointment when compared to everything else in its class.

Anyone sitting here saying to build a 1000whp 5th gen over a vette is nuts and or in denial. Sure 5th gens are cool but they are crappy platforms.

Here's some logic, 5th gens are heavy, V's are heavier. That makes V's better right? I'm gonna buy a semi, because according to this guy's logic I'll be better off with that than a 5th gen. a Z06 weighs 3200lbs, a stripped down 5th gen can weigh 3500lbs. 300lbs is not that bad guys, it really isn't.

At least now you're understanding the concept. V's are still > 5th gens.

Here's turd gen and pig-V. With pretty similar rwhp pig-V w/o spray miraculously pulled on turd gen. And P1SC c6 pulled all. All are autos.
