Another clarification, I guess for some reason all I've seen is 09-13 ZL1 diffuser installs because they swayed me to be in the market for a NPP diffuser. So for a 14' SS/1LE. The z28/1LE diffusers just bolt right up?? Direct replacements..

Yes on the 14-15 it is a direct replacement, you will reuse the bolts that you pull off

Nice! That looks beautiful! You can order it through GM parts direct I think it's around 600 though. But it's the part number for the spring edition diffuser. Same piece but I think it only allows for single tips. However it has a plate you can remove or cut out to fit dual tips.

Strange. Seems like they show 4 shields . . .

EDIT: The top two are the splash guards

There are numerous threads on the ZL1 diffusers, but most are for the 2010-13 model years, and few talk about upgrading from 1LE.

For the 2014/15 1LEs, what do I need to go to the 2014 ZL1 diffuser? I'm seeing the diffuser and (optionally) heat shields. No absorbers or other miscellaneous pieces?
The ZL1 is a direct replacement, using same hardware. Shipping is costly because of box size. Heat shields are totally optional. Works fine without.

Your part list is for the Z28. This Difusser look much better with shields as the Difusser fits tighter than the ZL1

Thank you

Sometimes you can luck out and find one for sale on here. If not you can always get the spring edition diffuser and have it painted

Will the spring edition have issues fitting the dual-mode exhaust? I think I read some people having issues won't that, but I am not sure.

So, can anyone confirm the part # for the 2014/15 ZL1 diffuser? Is it 22829478?

There are two of them one for single tip exhaust and one for dual mode (22997454).
