Interior Question
Attached Images
Attached Images I apologize if this was brought up and answered before, but on the concept interior shots, the yellow wrap around on the dash above the dash vents seems to show some sort of electronic data display. I didn't see that on the interior shots that were posted recently. Was it stated somewhere that this was only for the concept and wouldn't be in the final product?

I don't think there is any type of display on the concept......The production car will not have it either.....

RB43TD, I don't think that will make it to production. If you check out the prototype shots again, you'll see that whatever was 'displayed' (it was fake, and un-changing) in the concept up there, will probably be located in the traditional clock/radio display. It would be too expensive to do that, I'd think -- and difficult to read in everyday driving. The concept was a show car first and foremost, after all. Honestly, we don't know one way or the other...but all indications would point to 'no'......Did that help answer your question? |

I just hope the screen between the gauges stays there like on the G8.
I love that. |

Cap locks-much?
It'll be a departure from the concept (I mean -- don't hold your breath for Billet Aluminum everywhere )...but we've been assured by pretty much everybody important, even Ed Welburn himself, that the production interior is better than the concept's. |

Next to a new Challenger and Mustang it should be like saying the SR-71 Blackbird is "just another airplane inside and out".

What you are looking at in the concept is a projector....really cool -- but heart stoppingly expensive!
Let me say this: the interior will have features that 'surprise and delight' -- Nuff said. (for now) Be in Indy to find out what I'm talking about! |

Must be a lull in Camaro testing/refining as the Father has been around quite a bit.

is that stripe that wraps runs along the dash and wraps on to the doors going to be part of the production car? i know the digital display is out due to cost.
