This all needs to be looked into. I'm all over getting GM parts that'll do the trick.

Please let us know part number. I have a week and a half to rebuild my calipers before my next track day

I saw the C7 brakes had some similarities, been wondering what the differences are and what can carry over. Maybe RB will have some competition now.

But Camaro an Corvettes have different lug patterns/size so the rotors won't cross over correct??? Not sure about the C7s....

Not sure if they have differing lug patterns. Even if the hat size has a different offset and lug pattern, there may be potential for separating the rotor from the hat and and replacing it with an existing ZL1 hat. Bolt them together and wire it and you would now have slotted rotors.

True, I'm just throwing out ideas. It sucks not having rotor options for the ZL.

The caliper is 100% same as zl1 with the addition of the vented pistons. So now we can use 2nd gen CTS V, ATS V, ZL1 and Z06 Calipers (fronts). didnt get time to look up PNs, but as I said, dealers have the piston kit info.

Rotors are a diff story. The offsets onhats and disc dimensions are all different so we can only use 2nd gen cts v and zl1 rotors.

I'm trying to remember for sure but I think JDP might be working on getting a vendor to make discs to swap out for the fronts. Also doesn't Racing Brakes make a rotor set? Overly expensive though they may be.

At one point I had talked to the Stop Tech/Centric guys. They said it was a good idea but IDK if it will ever happen.

So the pistons should have caps that look like this (this is a nascar Titanium one, the OEM ones are steel I believe).

The kit for the pistons from the dealer should be 23242510.

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results.cfm

Not sure if its 6 or 12 pistons. They are staggered on the 6 piston caliper so 3 different ODs per caliper, 2 each for opposite sides. Again, I am not sure if its 6 pistons or 12 to cover both fronts.

So basically $110 per front caliper. Is there a kit for the rear?

The RB rotors are junk IMHO. We're waiting for AP Racing to have a variant like we now offer for the SS 4-piston Brembo.

That is per caliper. We offer all of the GM replacement parts as well.

Kind regards,
