Do you guys double-clutch?

I'm just curious. Given the syncros in the transmissions...how many of you still double clutch everywhere?

Only time I do it is when coming to a light. Clutch to neutral, and then clutch to gear if the light goes green before I come to a stop.

Edit: Coming out of a curve is also a time I do it. A lot of fun.

Double clutching is when you push clutch in and put in neutral, let clutch out, rev the engine, or let the revs drop to match the rpms(depending on what gear you want) then clutch in again for the next shift. It's fun to do, but it is not very good way to shift if you were driving competitively.

I'll only do it when downshifting, either to pass or in tight curves(ie. off ramps).

I do it a lot when downshifting, but the only time I do it when upshifting is just goofing off, and acting like a truck driver!!

I also do the double clutching thing. Specially at the stop light to indicate the other drivers that I have the Manual 6 speed. Get many smiles about it.

No way, never and for those who think so, most truck drivers do not double clutch, heck I almost never use the clutch except when stopping.
