The Eaton Option
Alright, lets get down to it right away. This is just a poll to determine how many people would seriously purchase a Roots Style SC developed by Eaton. We all know such a development depends largely upon market demand. Please share your thoughts and concerns, we will also be trying to get Eaton to view this thread periodically as well. I also want everyone to remember that these prices are in no way based upon tooling and development. This poll is to show manufactures that the market for this type of product is more like 5000+ instead of around 500.
[I][COLOR="Red"] Stage 1 A 40% power boost from a bolt on Roots Supercharger w/tune for around $5k. [COLOR="Red"/][I/] Thank you for your support.

I won't be doing ANY forced induction until after my warranty period, or at least a few years after purchase, but when I do it would definitely be a roots-type blower. Whether its Eaton, Magnacharger, whatever... it doesn't matter to me, but I'd definitely rather have a roots-type blower over any other setup.
- X P.S. - A TVS1650 would be awesome. :wink wink:

That is what I would prefer... I might have to go turbo if they don't step up and produce one though.

Yeah, I prefer turbo. Would have bought one by now...if there was one. But I'm willing to keep my options open...

You could count me in in about 4 years and two months. Would rather go with this setup over anything else. $5k is a really reasonable price point IMO.

by now if a company is going to make a thread like this it is redundant. This whole forum is dealers asking if people want it. People talk about it, dealers don't make it, then other dealers come in. This seems more like a tool for getting preorders instead of actually seeing if people want chargers because even before "there are a lot of responses" companies already have prototypes in progress..
I mean there are threads where people are still responding to, and the company only checks it once a month lmao...

Are there any existing Roots style superchargers that use direct injection? Would the system have to be modified any to miss the injectors? I cant remember how far to the side they are.
