a) challenger sales are so low cuz they're so damn expensive, but also chrysler doesn't produce them nearly as much.
b) mustang sales went up so much thanks to the give away deals on 2010s and the release of the 2011 with the new motors and transmissions c) don't expect sales to beat the mustang again until GM drops an engine and transmission set up that will leave the mustang in the dust, and fix the interior. i love the look of the car, but i hate all the plastic inside it. Motor Trend and all these other mags basically advertise for all three cars, and lately it has been giving the mustang the best reviews, and in some cases knock the camaro pretty hard. Personally i am holding out till the z/28, cuz i know GM will at least take the cake on that level of performance. |

Now we have to wait for the 2011's to come out and Chevy needs some advertising man! The mustang commercial is kindda cool and a lot of my friends see it and think this is cool. But then again For me the camaro is cool so Im kindda happy if no one else buys any more Camaros :-) and They remain super rare. BTW to anyone who thinks the 2011 Mustang looks cool think of it this way. It looks like a 2005 Mustang with a cool body kit.

The numbers are up for one reason, The National Statistics show that there is a increase in women drivers this year, not to mention all the graduations, So of course Mustang is going to sell more cars 90% of all mustangs sold are to women in some way BTW We love our Camaro Women

Actually it doesn't have anything to do with the Camaro. Look again at the sales figures. The Camaro sales from may didn't drop. It's been selling 8-9,000. That's the great news.
Remember, the number one goal for the Camaro isn't to outsell the mustang. It 's to sell well, period. Lutz said they needed 100,000 a year, and they got it. Some said, oh it's pent up demand. It also happend in the midst of a recession with 10% unemployment. If us Long Time Camaro Fans knew a year ago that it would outsell mustang for 11 months, we'd be extremely happy. |

If I could get that much money off (up to 8k) of a 2010 camaro I would go buy another and have a pair in my garage. Probably IOM would look good next to RY.
