New to Camaro5 from PA - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just wanted to stop by and introduce my self to every one. I am new to the forums, found it by searching for parts for my 11 Camaro. I now have my 7th and soon to be 8th Camaro. I have a yellow 11 Camaro ss/rs vert. And I just order a 15 camaro 2lt/rs. I wanted something a little easier on the gas but still giving me that thrill I get when I drive my camaro. I will post pics of it as soon as I get it. I order the new velvet blue with the blue int. Can't wait to get it as I have many ideas to mod it already.

Welcome aboard! I also went with the V6 to be easy on gas. It is the show more than the go for me. I like the new blue.

How do you like the v6. I have not driven on yet. I know it is different then the SS. I can not wait, TPW 9/8 for I may have it by the end of the month.

The new blue is Bad A**. I was looking at the 2014 Blue Ray, but waited to order the 2015 in the Velvet Blue. Looks great in person.

I haven' driven an SS, but I do like the V6. It had some good power, when I put my foot down it goes, just without the rumble that you would get from a V8. I really like the way the car looks, so being without the two extra cylinders doesn't bother me. I am averaging about 20mpg between city and hightway driving. I am very happy with it.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

In philly, will be posting pics once it is delivered. I have a few things waiting at the house for it when it gets in. Going a CAI, suspension package(1LE), Break Kit. I can not wait to get it all done.

Just stopping in to check the status of my car as it should be here around the 21St.

I wanted to add a few things,

So far I have sitting in my garage the rolling Mods for my car.

CAI Intake

Stretch Bra to be used to get my car to the shop. Have an open appointment to get the car wrapped in a clear bra.

New Pedals

Customer painted interior parts( Anything that is silver will be Blue, lets hope they are right and the 2014 are the same parts)

The dealer has the ale suspension to be installed when the car is delivered.

Checking in to the 3.91 gears for it.

Will be posting pics of it as I get the car and the progress.

Just wanted to know thoughts about the next idea.

I want FI but not sure which way to go. The intake is done and it will have the NPP exhaust so should I do a turbo or super charger.

Not sure which is going top be better.

also thinking of doing NOS on it. (may wait a while for this one)

thoughts any one.
