This thread is hilarious! I am positively going to sit in the car at the dealership as I pop in my pre-burned CD that starts out with a cut version of Bitchin' Camaro by the Dead Milkmen (only the end of the song) followed by some kind of burnout/screeching tires out of the dealership followed by:
46 and 2 by TOOL Stinkfist H. Prison Sex Lateralis Schism Parabola Vicarious ...in some kind of orchestrated order. I can't beat Tool for that "get your heart racing" kind of music. I hope this thing comes with some bass! (not the fish. that would suck) |

I'm glad this thread has continued to thrive! I've continued to think about it (and add to my playlist!)...
Bullet for my Valentine "Tears Don't Fall" Muse "Knights of Cydonia" Killswitch Engage "This is Absolution" (best double bass I've heard in years) JJ Grey & MOFRO "Tragic" - (AMAZING BAND, great slide guitar!) Sometime time flies, sometime it creeps along... can I have both so I can get my Camaro faster and take my time and enjoy it? tick tock... ~LSx |

I want to order mine "radio delete"! Too much weight for something I'll never use.

Leave it to the bay area rappers to make the ultimate chevy song if you're into hip hop.
Mac Dre. - Chevy Man second vs is about fords, but there's a lot more chevy's mentioned. Check it out if you guys get a chance. |

Well i've had some driving time in the 'pala and the van to really think about what i'd listen to, i'll be mainly happy to just have a cd player(impala has a non working tape deck, and the van plays cd's when it wants to and not that often)
but after I listen to the exhaust from driving the parkway a bit, i'll put in a cd with the following songs the techno remix of Steppenwolf: Magic Carpet Ride the Cars remake from Fear Factory(more bass) anything from the initial d anime Paul Oakenfold :Tranceport track 4 Purple(sasha v. the light) what an awesome song Crystal method and Filter - trip like I do Holden and Thompson - Nothing Rammstein - Du Hast the music from the Eleanor driving bit in Gone in 60 seconds Heaven Scent(dunno who its by) Its alot of techno but these are all songs that have meant alot to me over the last few years, and will mean alot to me when I'm finally driving my Camaro around(hopefully with my wife and daughter with me) Gray |

I'll add them to the ongoing album I have. I'm planning on making a 4-8 cd set of all the suggestions. I have almost any song from initial D if you ant me to make you a custom cd and I have two hour long + mixes of the soundtracks. I even have the OST from fourth stage. =P

Have live and Let Die on standby, for when I pull up along side of a Mustang...
Original Lyrics: "When you were young and your heart was an open book You used to say life and let life (you know you did, you know you did you know you did) But in this ever changing world in which we live in Makes you give in and cry Say live and let die" MY Lyrics: "When you were young, and you were driving in your car, You always said, 'Live and let live' (You know you did, that's what Camaro people do___) But while your cruising and a 'Stang pulls up next to you, And it gives you a rev... SAY LIVE AND LET DIE!!!!" |
