Window Tint Opinions

I will have window tint put on Monday and the brand this person uses is Sun-Gard. On my Grand Am before I sold it had Lumar tint which was very nice and never had one problem with it. My question is, anyone with Sun-Gard tint give some feedback on how it is.

I think I've got Sun-Gard on my Jeep. 2 years and no issues.

Then again, tint is relatively cheap. If it has issues, talk to the shop that installed it, or just have it redone later.

do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on ceramic tint. the lightest shade of ceramic tint blocks more heat than the darkest shades of regular tint film. The dark ceramic tint keeps the interior much cooler in the summer.

Yes, me too! I don't want a dark tint, these old peepers are bad enough at night

Not going real dark only 35% all the way around. And I don't like it I can always take it off and get the ceramic later.

I am with the others - ceramic is really the only way to go. It is infinitely better than other styles of tint

3m is the best tint I have found, beats them all hands down.

Yeah I saw 3M tint but the bad thing is no one near me or anywhere close to my location deals with 3M.

I had 30% Llumar CTX tint put on all but the windshield which I had the clear CTX put on. It is great stuff. I have had Llumar film on my last two vehicles and it has been excellent.

I like LLumar had it on my first car for 7 years and never had one problem. I will give this brand a chance, it's always nice trying something different out may be good or may be bad you never know till you try. I do appreciate everyone's opinions though have been thinking on what to do all weekend lol.

Definitely. I had 20% ceramic film put on one of may cars a few months ago and it made a very noticeable difference. Rather than being 40 degrees hotter inside the car on a hot day it was about the same temp inside the car as ambient. And that is in a black convertible.
